After a long whirlwind of rumours and speculations, the wait is finally over for those who were excitingly waiting to launch the next addition to the fan edition lineup of Samsung’s flagship phones. Korean tech giant Samsung has formally launched the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE early today, an upgraded variant of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE launched in 2020.
Launch Date Of The Samsung Galaxy S21 Fe
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is a toned-down variant of Galaxy S21 launched on 14 January 2021. The upcoming smartphone is about to launch in India in January. As per the information available, the S21 FE will be available on pre-sale from 4 January, and the regular sale will commence from 11 January 2022. Samsung has also announced offers for early buyers of smartphone. Early buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be able to avail of special offers on the purchase. Additionally, Samsung’s wireless earphones Galaxy Earbuds 2 will be a gift from 4 to 18 January 2022.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will come with a 6.4-inch Full HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and a 240Hz screen sampling rate, which comes to actions during gaming mode. Depending on the countries, the upcoming fan edition smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or the company’s very own processor, Exynos 2100, mated with 6GB and 8GB RAM. S21 FE will support up to 256GB of internal storage, which can be extended further as the phone does not have a memory card slot for external storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will have a triple one below another camera setup on the back. Camera specifications include an F2.2 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP dual pixel wide camera with autofocus, OIS, and has an aperture of F1.8. Additionally, the fan edition smartphone includes an F2.4 8MP telephoto camera that supports 30x Space Zoom. The selfie camera has a 32MP lens with an F2.2 aperture on the front.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE houses a 4,500mAh battery, supporting 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone will not come with a charger. So, the buyers will either have to reuse their exiting chargers or buy the suitable one. S21 FE supports reverse wireless charging and can charge the devices such as smartphones and watches that support inductive charging.
Users can avail of Android 12 powered One UI V.4 on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G. Connectivity options available on the fan edition smartphone include Type-C port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G/4G, USB and GPS. Sensors like magnetometer, proximity, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, barometer are present in the phone. The fingerprint sensor will be present under the display.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Price In India
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will have a starting price pegged at Rs 52,000. Available phone variants are 6GB paired with 128GB ROM, 8GB paired with 128GB ROM and 8GB paired with 256GB ROM. The phone will be available on sale on the official website of Samsung India and retailers. Availability with the retailers might vary, the Korean tech giant Samsung cleared.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Color Options
The fan edition phone will have four colour options – Lavender, Olive, Graphite and White. All of them have a stylish haze finish.
